Quick fixes

Alerts not arriving? Check these first.

  • Notification permissions. WellAlert can only prompt you if notifications are allowed — check Settings → Notifications → WellAlert and enable alerts, sounds, and banners.
  • Focus modes & Do Not Disturb. Add WellAlert to your allowed apps so check-in prompts break through when a focus mode is on.
  • Contact acceptance. Registered contacts get push alerts only after accepting your contact request — check their status on the Contacts screen.
  • Email in spam. Ask contacts to check their junk folder for WellAlert alert emails and mark them as safe senders.
  • Run a test alert. The in-app test alert confirms your whole setup — from your device to your contacts — without triggering a real escalation.
For contacts

Receiving alerts you didn't ask for?

If someone designated you as an emergency contact and you'd rather not receive alerts, use the opt-out link in any alert email — or email us at support@wellalert.app and we'll remove your details and suppress future alerts to you.

In an emergency, don't wait for support. WellAlert alerts the people you choose; it does not contact emergency services. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number (such as 911) immediately.
